help!
HI maybe you can help I just got a 1705 super chip micro tuner when I install any of the three programs and start the truck all it does is rev to 3000 rpm? I can program the stock program and it runs fine? when I check the codes it gives p0603 internal ctrl mod kam error what does this mean? thanks

Your best bet is to call Superchips service dept. They should be able to help. Thats awful strange though. I think the code is normal for a truck that has had a chip, or has one. Cant remember exactly though.

In the 99 - '03 PSD forum is a thread about Superchips Microtuners. About the third thread from the top. I've not read it, but it has a lot of post in it. Maybe someone has asked the same questions you have. Just a thought. Or a search of this forum and the '99 - '03 forum using "Superchips Microtuner" or "Microtuner". Otherwise, Itfox is probably right, call their service dept.

I bought the 1705 tuner and it would not work on my truck. I called superchips and they had me send it back to them. I overnighted it to them and then had to wait a week or to to get it back and it still did not work. On mine it would not idle and it ran rough. So I got my money back and bought the Edge and it worked fine even though Superchips said it was my truck that was the problem. So good luck.

not what you want to hear but why not spend that 300 bucks on some real power?????? like a flip chip..

Hello again went to the speed shop and exchanged my tuner with a new one today got home installed the towsafe program............WOW it worked! I cant believe the dif. lots of power touchy fuel pedal though THANKS GUYS FOR THE INFO
