Warning buzzer

Hi fellas, this is my first post and I could use some assistance with my son's '96 Ranger. The dome light and warning buzzer will not shutoff after starting the truck. There used to be about a 30 second delay, but now he says it stays on for 30 minutes! Please help! Thanks!

I'm not sure what model year, but at some point I think the door jamb switch was replaced with one inside the door, actuated by the handle mechanism. A lot of people have reportedly fixed the problem by spraying the switch with WD-40.

You may also want to look for a door agar light, If not, it may the timmer/Gem Moduel.

Thanks agryphon and Dave............ I was looking for the door switch, but it seems they've hid it pretty well! The door ajar light hasn't been on, so I was thinking it might be the central timer module.....
