carb help

I've got a 1977 F-250, it idles good...runs kinda rich by the smell. However, when i stomp on the gas the engone bogs down and dies. When i ease the pedal down it revs fine. Its got a holley carb. I'm new to the carb so any help would be appreciated.

Is it a 2bbl or 4bbl? Sounds like an accelerator pump issue.

If it's a vacuum secondary, make sure nobody put a screw through the secondary linkage.
