How many PSD owners have taken their 4X4 decals off their rear quarters? I did and think the truck looks allot cleaner without them. I did it with my 01 and now 06.
I think its a waste to have to advertise 4WD on the truck. If people can't figure it out just looking at it oh well.
Well, since mine came with awesome "Rancho" shocks, and those bulletproof skid plates, I have sweet looking FX4 decals. Who would want to remove those?!! Now if I had those silly 4X4 decals, that might be another story.
I also have the FX4 on the dark green truck. Had Packer Gold stripes put on, 6" PACKERS on the tailgate, and 1.5" Green Bay Packers on the two front doors. Even a lousy season is okay when you have the truck that makes up for it.
Always take them off...on all my trucks including my former (4) Z71's...however in defense of stickers I got two International truck enblems (the diamond ones in the hood) and applied them to the door on each side infront of the power stroke emblem...I like it...I'd put my pics on here but no one ever explains how!
I agree on the billboard decals. I removed all the decals off my 05 harley f350... even the psd6.0 I think it looks alot better and i do not regret the removal one bit. It was only in my driveway for 20 minutes and I had the hairdryer out there heating them up. Even took pics and added them to my gallery to encourage others to do the same. It's easy!

I haven't, yet, but have been thinking seriously about that - and maybe removing all the emblems off the truck. I mean, I know that it is an Fx4 and an F250 and has a PSD, I don't think I need the emblems to remind me...and last time I checked, Ford wasn't sending me any checks to advertise for them That's the same reason that I removed all the dealer emblems as soon as I got her home.
Removing the metal emblems will leave you with 2 alignment holes at each location... bummer as I was going to do the same thing.... guess they get that advertising even from us "decal less" models.
Thanks for the tip...that stinks. Don't get me wrong, I love my Ford, but it is now MY Ford and would like to be able to do what I want with it without much hassle. Holes left in my truck where emblems once were definitely fits in the "hassle" category.
DCspecial turned me on to this Billet Badge guy, and I'm seriously considering getting some custom badges from him. Just a little something to make my truck a little more personal.
