help me....
my battery keeps dying on me the battery is brand new and the alternator recharges the battery when i ru nthe truc kbut when i leave the truck alone for an hour or two the battery dies alittle bit and if i leave it over night the batter will die completely any ideas on why that would happen

First off, do not start a topic that says "Help Me", or anything of that sort. This is stated in the guidelines which you should have read in the articles at the top of the page where all the topics are posted.
About your problem, something is obviously draining it. Make sure your radio isnt left on (if it is an aftermarket one), make sure all dome lights are off, just the basic things.

also make sure there isn't a current leak (short) in the alternator I ran every test there is in the chiltons and the haynes manuals and couldn't find the problem. then when I was reading the guide for another of my vehicles it talked about alternator shorts. that was the problem
