converting ford lightning shifter to floor
has any one out there ever converted a lightning 2004 to automatic floor shift? if any one has please e-mail

But I also feel it's worth mentioning that we like to keep the discussions on the message boards here vs e-mail so that others may benefit from the information provided. Someone in the future may come along looking to learn the same type of information and could find the thread with our search function (link above).
Although I don't know the answer to your question, you may want to look at catalogs from such places as Summit Racing or Jegs to see if you can find the type of product you're looking for - then call or find out if they make that product to fit your application. Good luck!

Gonna have to be custom built. Have found some examples that it could be done though.
Here is a prerunner bronco with an E4OD on ebay with a floor shifter. Appears to be out of an International truck.

Not only do you have to figure out a linkage, you have to provide for the OD lockout switch wiring.

Darren Pellecchia of Austin, TX has built the most awesome floor shifter/console setup I've ever seen in a Lightning. It was not cheap or easy to do, but the end results are priceless.
