I'm not familiar with np203's, but if there isn't a drain plug, you could get one of those hand-pumps, stick the tube into the fill plug and try to get out as much fluid as possible. You can probably find a pump like that for like $5 at any auto-parts place.
It is spec'ed to use non detergent 30 weight oil. You can use straight 20W non detergent in winter. The reason you use nondetergent oil is that it foams a LOT less in the Tcase than regular detergent oil does and lubricates it better. To use anything else is not in line with orignal specs for case when it came out in 73. That link is in complete error about using 10w40 oil and likely because the person writting it was not even around one when they first came out.

That site is wrong about using 10w40, but it is correct saying 80 or 90 weight is harmfull to run.
On the back of the t case there is a circular peice of alluminum, I removed the 3 lower bolts till draining slowed, and the removed the whole thing. Then as mentioned above it would be a good idea to get a hand pump to finish draining the rest out, then use some RTV silicone or somthing similar and install the alluminum plate back on the fill with 6 or 7 quarts of non detergant 30W.
