Yeah, the tires are 12.5 wide and they are just for the winter, i also have a different set for the summer for the mud. Glad the info helped, and if you're in the PG region it would be great to grab a coffee sometime.
Thanks for the info. I might consider these tires if I lift my truck before spring. And no prob on the coffee. If I am going that way I will post it in the BC chapter site.
I am running 33x12.50 Mud Kings on my 84 Ford F150 4x4 (work/play toy), and they are terrible in snow and ice...I won't even talk about slushy roads. I don't drive this truck in the winter much anymore unless I need to haul or tow something, or pull somebody out of a ditch. I recently bought a set of Cooper Discoverer STs for my 95 GMC Jimmy 4x4 (daily driver), they are THE BEST tire I have ever had on any of my vehicles. The traction and control is outstanding, I have only used 4wd 1 or 2 times since these tires were installed. It was only because I was driving through and area with high snow drifts and ice underneath. They were expensive but without a doubt worth every penny, Love my Cooper STs!
I was looking at the Coopers on the net the other night and thought that they looked like a good tire. The other thought that I have is since the Kumho's I have are drilled for studs, I might just stud them and sipe them then buy myself another summer tire. So many choices it hurts my poor brain.
