I'm running an Aeroturbine on my X. I have the resonator version of the aeroturbine feeding into a BTM. Definately worth it to me. No drone. No ratty turbo flutter. Much deeper smoother sound. It's about as quiet as the stock muffler but flows much better... lower EGT's

I got the 3535L (3.5")from Dave over at dieselpowerproducts. Price was a lot better than list but I've bought a bit of stuff from him. Great guy. Pick up a TAG and a blue CPS from him at the same time, you'll like it.

My X is now about 120* lower at cruise than it was stock... Adding the BTM and the AIS/sleeve really dropped it. Adding the Aeroturbine is pretty much a wash... lower EGT at low to mid RPM and a bit higher than with just the BTM at WOT. Max EGT I see with my config is 1150-1175 at WOT or pulling my 9000 boat uphill.

I get drone but it sounds like it's coming out of the intake, not the exhaust. Putting on the big exhaust actually reduced the drone sound which surprised me. It used to be obnoxious at 2000 rpm with the stock exhaust and BTM muffler. Pulling the trailer only made it worse. Now it's not so bad.
