Greetings
I'm almost 25, living in Tuscaloosa, AL, and about to graduate with a CS degree. I want a truck again when I get out and I want it to be my own. I'm currently planning to buy a '73-'79 Super/Crew 4x4 and drop a cummins 6bt, NV4500, NP205 in it. Upgrade the axles and suspension. Finish up the body and start customizing (bypass oil filter, custom bumpers, onboard air compressor, air horn, aux fuel tank, custom dash, captain chairs up front, gear vendors overdrive, new audio). I'd like to make it my daily driver then start work on a biodiesel reactor for some super cheap fuel.
I've been around Fords all my life. My first vehicle was a 1985 F-150. That thing is still running strong. Great farm truck. My dad currently owns a 2001 F-250 4x4 Crew. Awesome truck. I love diesels.
I'll graduate this summer so until then I'm going to be soaking up all the info I can.
See yall around.
