Converted to be a Ford Man

>I plan on buying new shocks and upgrading the exhaust (still deciding what to buy). I will use this truck to get back and forth to work as well as tow an 18’ boat (around 2600 lbs) and haul stuff. So all upgrades decisions will be based on getting the best fuel economy/performance. Since I’ve had the truck I have installed a Fram Air Hog air filter and modified the air filter housing to breathe easier. Did a tranny service, coolant change and an oil change. I just ordered some 8mm plug wires, replaced the cap, rotor and fuel filter. The plugs looked fine, but a little concerned that they are Bosch Platinum-4’s. From what I have read, most people prefer the good old copper ones. I also replaced the factory speakers but it still has a hollow acoustic sound in the cab, but now I have crisp highs. Down the road I’ll replace the am/fm cassette with an am/fm CD.

>I have to admit I’m now a proud Ford owner. My last truck was 2001 Tundra. Sold it to buy a minivan, since I’m now married with children. Missed having a truck so I found this clean Ford for $5500 and couldn’t pass it up.
