When your green dots start turning yellow, you've really hit the bling stage
if you rack up the negs, will they turn red?

I got a negative Rep points because the kid (16 yr old) jumped to a conclusion BEFORE he responded to me. Fair, heck no, but I've learned not to sweat the small stuff.

Check my wife's rep !

She received a nasty comment from a user that has more points than me.

So he nailed her good with Neg rep ,ands he knows it.

She doesn't care though as she has her own thoughts of the person that did it,it just proved her point when she got it

Nope Dennis her's is still not red nor is she on the bottom of the rep list. I had to look because I hadn't seen a red one on here yet, so you made me go look.
here is the bottom of the pile on members list sorted by reputation ascending order.

It looks like admin removed it then.

I suppose it's the principle of the thing that caused me to do it

The past is the past, and its time to move on fellas, lets get back on track regarding rep points

i've gotten my fair share of good and bad and ones that i have considered earned, the ones that I have recieved for my postings mean the most to me, cause what I wrote caused or motivated the person to take the next step and let me know they found it to be useful, helpful and or imformative info or advice.

how many reputation points does one need to move up to the second stage, with two dots? i have known about the system, and i know that i have 29 points or so.

for those with 3 or 4 dots, how many points do you have, just out of curiousity?

That was probably me. That was one of the few occasions when a negative was definitely in order as was apparent to anyone who saw the post.

I like to give positive rep to people who post useful information, unique and creative ways for building/fixing something or sometimes they'll post something that just cracks me up and I thank them for the chuckle with some reputation. Afterall, this site isn't ALL business.

To get back on track....

If you are giving out reputation points (positive or negative) - a great idea is to put in the reason why you are giving them the points, that way the person can see what you liked (or disliked) about thier post.

So what does it mean when one person has more dots than another, but it's the same message on their reputation?
