Adding Compass/Temp console...
I have a 2006 E450 [cutaway chassis] MH in which the compass/temperature overhead console was not offered as a factory option. However, after reviewing the Ford chassis manuals for this body it looks like the wiring & roof mount are already provided, albeit under the headliner. Has anyone added this option to their van? If so, are these things generally available thru Ford parts [at a hi$$$ price I'll bet!] or were they originally part of an option "package" one ordered when purchasing a new vehicle? Are they available used or from the aftermarket??
