My AER Ford-reman 390 engine had (1st engine) cracked block and (2nd engine) loose heads, a leaky head gasket, a defective oil pump, and after 10K miles, poor compression in all cylinders. If AER still was Ford's tranny rebuilder, I'd rather push my F250 with my hands than buy one of their rebuilds.
Ford's attitude toward my engine problems was so loathesome that it almost clinched me as a 'never again' Ford customer.
