Hello- Welcome to FTE! I have moved your post to the specialized forum we have here for your question. Check out the list of tech forums we have here. There is a wealth of information and expertise here to help you. There are a number of links in my sig below to help you also. Have fun!
You'll need to swap your intake, carb, and distributor for starters.
Fuel supply lines needs to modified. I'm guessing that your truck has an in-tank low pressure fuel pump which needs to be removed and a suction tube in its place along with the external high pressure fuel pump mounted on the frame. Get an after-market electric fuel pump to supply your fuel. Try to mount your fuel pump as close to the tank as possible. Also, the fuel return line needs to be plugged off.
The water temp and oil pressure sending unit wires from your engine to your dash is intergrated with your fuel injector harness so be careful not to cut those wires when removing your harness. You'll also find your IGN. On wire somewhere in it to power up your ignition coil.
There are other stuff I missed but others here are very helpful and will reply soon.
Good luck.
The in-tank pump only puts out around 6psi max, so you can leave that. You should run a regulator, though, so you don't put too much pressure to the carb.
