Adding cruise control 03 F150

I have 2 F150 "03 V6 stepsides. one STX, one XL

Both are non cruise control models, how hard would it be to add cruise to both of them?

I know that ford has a kit available at the stealer or online to add cruise to ur trucks for about 300 dollars. very nice includes new steering wheel.

I was hoping it would be cheaper...Is all the wiring there? Can I just add the mech. parts? or am I missing something...

crab, a new steering wheel alone is 500.00. i have no clue where you got 300.00 from.

Maybe the kit comes with just the center section for the steering wheel, with the CC buttons...

oops that is for 4.6 and 5.4 trucks there is another kit listed for the v6 trucks. this is for the 04 heritage which is the smae as your 03 models.

Thanks so much for the link, thats just what we needed, now to come up with almost $800 to pay for them...

I bought 1 of these trucks for my daughter to drive to college, the second daughter fell in love with it so we had to go find a second one... What's a Dad to do???
