04 350 41k miles no problems and love the truck until I bought my wife a Deville. Drove the Deville for a couple of days and then back to my truck. Certainly is not as smooth and the Northstar engine...wow. She won't trade! All kidding aside, I love the truck and the Deville can't pull the RV or 4x4 down the beach.
okay lets see here.....
I blew my tranny, I cracked the transfer case twice, I snapped the rear drive shaft, Broke the rear ring and pinion, granaded the front axle, hit 14. flat on the 1/4 mile, mud wamp it every weekend(even got a DUI in ma truck) yet the good ol 6.0 has only been to the dealer once for a bad ebp sensor.....???? i guess i got a good 6.0 currently 32k miles still running stronger than yours haha
We got a good one here , we have drove the hell out of this truck , it has seen more dyno time and more drag strip passes than any 10 trucks will ever see. We currently hold the DHRA record at an 11.519 @ 119.26 mph set in Houston and drive the truck on the street all the time. Still has the stock headbolts and gaskets in it and the stock turbo too. It seems to be one tuff motor combo. Gotta love those 6.0's We only have 10K miles of abuse on this one.
The seats are more comfortable in the Ranch, the Ranch is higher so I can see over other cars, and People tend not to pull out in front of a 7000lb truck.
And so far the Ranch has always started in the morning; I cannot say the same about the Super V8 Jag.

well look at this... filmore? sounds like your about 25 minutes away from me, I wanted to have the fastest 6.0 around sounds like I have some work to do.... lol next on my christmas list for my truck is some studs, gaskets, larger injectors, and some custom programming. We should go burn some rubber at the Valencia Industrial center haha jk, 11 seconds? thats impressive. I wonder If I could ever get my 6.0 to do that with 40" tires.
I love my 2006 PSD... I knew buying it that there were issues with the 03's and 04's...
I hoped they would have them all worked out.
I'm 100% happy so far. 6100 miles and I have enjoyed every one of them.
The alternative was to do what? Buy a Dodge? I think the cummins is a great engine, but I just don't like the Dodge. I don't like the looks, I don't think the styling is as nice.
Chevy? not in this lifetime.
This is the most popular (I suppose) Ford website in the country. I figure LOTS of people never bother to come onto a ford forum until they have a problem. I hypothesize there may be a high percentage of people who have had problems with their trucks on here for that reason. People that have never had a problem are busy putting mile after trouble free mile on their diesels and aren't going to waste their time on the internet talking about how trouble free their trucks are. And I suspect that is the majority.
I think there's 2 kinds of people on this board... Those that LOVE to mod the hell out of their truck and come here for info and those that have a problem and come here for answers.
I am just going to enjoy my truck. If you aren't going to let the warranty give you piece of mind why buy a new truck. If I have a problem, I'll deal with it then. I'm not going to ruin my love of my truck in the meantime worrying about things that are not wrong with my truck.

We all have to remember, the main reason people visit this site (along with other vehicle forums) are:
#1 To hop the engine up for more power
#2 To ask or complain about a problem
I had a 2002 Nissan Maxima that i traded in on my truck and i belonged to Maxima forum and it was the same dam thing.........Hop ups or Screw Ups..........its just the nature i guess...
By the way, the V-6 (the VQ series and its derivatives) in my maxima has been awarded one of the 10 best engines in the world for years and years, but.........there were still people having serious and minimal problems.......just food for thought
I bought my '06 F-350 Lariat in September and have just rolled 13k on the odo. Only problem I have had is getting out of it, and finding parking spaces far enough away from the idiots out there.

whats up Kepler lol I think your talking about ORU... remember both our trucks were in there at the same time getting ARB's. Well they know my truck pretty well now because they had to re-do the whole suspension to fix all of 4 Wheel Specialties Unlimited's mistakes, now those guys are a bunch of bozo's and their mistakes cost me a fortune on top of what I had already spent with them. ORU is on a different level of quality work then 4 wheel specialties off Sepulveda theyre a joke.

ORU! That's it. Guess the early stages of Alzheimers are creeping into my brain. Guess I need some wheeling time to clear out all the work stuff.
Next trip to ORU: 4.5" Donoho lift and some 35" mudders. Still gotta fit my truck into the garage at work!
