help

i bought all the hook up kits for the factory harness and when i turn on my light the radio cuts off i got a pioneer 1600 with a sony 500 watt amp and two 10" pioneer premiers does anyone know what could be hooked up wrong for the radion to cut off when i turn my lights on

have your grounded your radio to the dimmer wire? This wire will show ground when the lights are off but then goes to 12volts when you turn the lights on and adjust the dimmer.

I've seen this many many times from customers bringing me thier car after thier buddy installed the radio for them.

is the blue wire on the radio for the remote wire for the amp or should i hook that up witht he acc wire

I think blue is actually the power antenna, but I'm not 100% sure on that one, it's either that or you remote wire.. either way it should turn the amp on, but if it's power antenna.. it could turn your amp off if you put in a CD.
