But can anyone reccomend a good gm forum for trucks?
Hate to say, but I went to the dark side and traded in the F250 for a 1/2 ton
GMC Sierra 4X4. After 3 Furds in a row, the GMC is taking a little getting used to!
TIA,
Bryce
Bryce,
Smart man!!
If you are looking for Duramax info, try dieselplace.com
Thanks Doug,
Actually bought a gasser, loved the diesel power, but don't trust them with all the high tech gizmos and emmision strangleholds.
Happy Holidays!

just wondering what you got for motor. i would guess the 5.3 but i am not sure.
BTW i am a member at dieselplace.com also.
BTW Tim, I like to play by the rules, I was just wondering if this is on the up and up. The posting of gm sites on here for anything other than references.

Wish I could take parts from every manufacturers bins and assemble my own!
Found the GM-truck forum...hope to find a few others.
Thanks,
Bryce
I think theres a site like gmtrucks.com or maybe chevytrucks.com. I cant remeber. When i was going to pickup a silverado i registered there. Seemed like a good group of guys.
I have gone to several Chevy truck sites but they are harder to use. They don't break down the models so old and new are all mumbled together. I guess it's because the Chevys change more through gradual changes rather than a radical remake like both Ford and Dodge have done.
