Okay, I'll liven it up a bit. I found a set of Ram's Horn manifolds on eBay and won them for my '56 F-350/Wrecker project. Can't wait to hear how that Mercury 312 sounds!

Hey,I need some of those, too.Saw a couple of sets there on E-bay in the last week or two myself.I usually refrain from bidding,I'm always way out of the running,Guess I'll have to go with my back-up plan, headers from Sacramento Vintage Ford, about the most reasonable, and close enough to give me an excuse to go check them out.I keep hoping to see an old Ford rusting away in someone's back yard and picking up a set for $25.00.Dream on.

Around January, things will probably pick up. I'm sure I'll be posting several questions. I've been planning on a total rebuild.

It's cold and I can't touch my truck. I would like to, but can't.

Money's not the issue, but the 12" of snow outside, and the fact that my trucks are 20mi away are. Who needs ram horns? I got a set.

I'm still kicking around the price. They're in very good usable condition.

Its only as good as us contributors. I have not heard from Janet lately, I hope she is OK. She has a wealth of knowledge. Personally, my Y-block is running OK, so I have no need to ask any questions and I don't feel confident in my personnal knowledge about Yblocks to give out info liberally.

I do check the page about every 2-3 days.

Yours in Y-blocks,

Cant work on the truck. Way too cold right now. Come summer the rebuild will start, so I might have some questions then.

This is one of the slower forums on FTE, of the ones I check, this one is the usually the quickst to scan through

While were on the topic of swapping and parts, does anyone have an intake for a yblock that will accept a modern 4bbl carb?

Good Afternoon All,

My excuses for not posting, the usual, too cold, no money.

I'm not the world's most mechanically inclined and I have a buddy helping get my '58 F-100 running. After putting on a Blue Thunder intake manifold and Edelbrock 500 cfm 4bbl we found a couple of bent push rods. Those are getting replaced as we speak. I'd be deeply indebted to anyone who can point out my next unforseen pitfall.

Thanks, Dave
