Quiet Steel?
What's everyone's opinion on Quiet Steel? Alot quieter, but is it just as strong?

Sounds neat but I don't need it in my truck or car..How would you do body work on one of those panels?" Another way to make cars throw away. I here it works good in some GM vehicles they are pretty quiet. How about welding, forming...???

Ford started using it in the 2005's F150's body panels. The little demo that they had at the dealer it really made a difference, and looked and felt the same as the old stuff. Just go out to a parking lot near you with a hammer and find a new 150 vs and old style 150, and hear the difference for youself...

The 04 and newer 150's use quiet steel - they are pretty quiet inside, but they are also slow for having 300 hp. The trans doesn't seem to transfer power well, at least when the truck is unloaded. Or maybe the throttle by wire (computer) gives the feeling of lack of connection.
