I am looking for christmas gift idea's...and since I am a new SD owner...was wondering if these SD's are mostly standard or metric bolts, nuts, etc.???
I have plenty of standard tools because of the '76 F150 390FE 4x4, so just wondering if I should go for the metric for the SD?
Thanks,
biz

Reason: missed a word
You can't work on any newer vehicle today without SAE and metric tools because of standardization of parts, exports overseas, etc. The SD is no exception. Better get some metric tools if you want to do any serious service on your truck.
I'm glad someone else brought this topic up, it's been driving me nuts (like I need any help). I work on one thing on this truck and it's metric, then I go to work on something else and it's standard. Sometimes I feel I spend more time going back and forth to my tool box than actually wrenching.
