D60 help please
Hi guys, I have searched for quite a while on this subject and I can only find a thread where one member talks about Proeliator putting a newer model D60 in a 79 or older truck with leaf springs but I can not find the post where he talks about doing this swap. Can anyone help? Also what about putting the newer D60 into a 79 or older coil spring 1/2 ton, can this be done without too much custom fab work? Thanks, Dave

look in his gallery, you have to outboard the spring hangers to accomidate the 36.5 perch width versus the 32.5 on the earlier trucks.
the later 60's have a smaller tube on the drivers side between the diff and c...this leaves little room for the c wedge to fit the radius arms to under a f-150
