Some trucks have the LL8 and some don't. I think they put it the late 2000 builds and up from what I have read. They put it in the #8 pos. to hold more fuel and pressure as the #7 fires right before #8 and starvs #8. If you put the Regulated Return system in and you have an LL8, you are suppose to take it out.You can remove the valve cover to see if you have one.

I've got the ITP system and one thing to keep in mind is the fuel temps in the summer. There haven't been any known problems, but your fuel tank will get up to 160 degrees in the hot summer. The regulated return systems run fuel through the heads and back into the tank. Make sure you get a Dahl filter too. I really like my system and the pressure is easily adjustable with an allen wrench. If you do have the long lead injector in #8, I would replace it with a new Alliant injector and not a reman from Ford.
