delayed start
Man if it aint one thing its another. So I finally got my bronco to start. Now every now and then I get this delayed start. I go to start it and nothing, the starter doesnt crank over or anything. I went down to see if the wire was loose cause I've had that happen a few times before but it was fine. So when I turn the key nothing, but if I leave it turned for a few seconds it will all of the sudden fire up. bad wires? something else?
thank again for any help

That sounds like loose connections or corrosion resistance. Ive seen this happen with those silly slip-on booted connectors at the solenoid on the inner fender. The trigger wire from the ignition switch (little pink one I think) came from the factory with this setup. They can get loose or oxidation inside them. The truck starts after a few seconds holding the key because the resistancs builds up heat and the stud on the solenoid expands and makes the connection tighter. I know it sounds silly but electricity is more fickle than a 16 y/o female an hour before her first high school dance.
