My new predator dosent work!!!!!!!
Just got my predator from motorhaven and it dosent work. I plug it in to my truck and it says booting ford 7_3 and then it says (The aplication is missing or corrupt) you hit continue and it does the same thing? Whats wrong?
Is there a code for this or do they need to send me another one?

get on the phone to the boys at diablo... they'll tell you what's up... they guys at motorhaven are really good, but they don't make the predator, they only sell it... cut out the middle man if you want info, if you just want to return it for another one, call motorhaven... sorry for the hassles you're having... i'm sure you were looking forward to having some fun..!

Hmm do new Predators come pre-loaded with the update?? If they don't I'd try getting the new update (if you have the pc interface kit). If you don't have one and don't mind waiting a little bit, I'd send it back and Motorhaven. They will take care of everything.

The great thing about the Predator is that it will tell you to turn the ignition key on/off. Because I've hooked it up both ways.

My predator did not work either, but it was because the stock program in the truck was not in tact. I bought my truck used and it already had a program installed. I had to have the truck re-flashed with the latest ford stock program before the predator would work.
It has to have the stock program in tact to use as a referance. If there is anything a miss with your stock program the predator will not work.

Anyone that has a predator that gives the message "operating system missing or corrupt" means that the flash upgrade didn't take and it needs to be reflashed by downloading the latest firmware flash and DS_downloader. and re-programming the programmer. Then it works great!!! at my 60 hp setting its night and day compared to stock!!!

Of course, that is no consolation when you have to wait for tech support and THEN get it reflashed!! Yuck.
