Does anyone know if they do or ever will offer one of those "autostick" options for the ranger, where you can shift but no clutch? I absolutely love Rangers and don't want to drive anything else, and i love being able to choose gears. Unfortunately several years ago i injured my left knee and it is slowly getting worse and i don't know how much longer i'm going to be able to clutch if it doesn't get better. if they don't have the option, is there a way to convert it over for say $1500 or less? just wondering.
I'd be surprised to see one in the near future, but they are becoming much more common, so maybe in a few years...
One problem, at least for factory installations, is that having a column shift is nice in a compact truck, and that would make it harder to manually change the gears.
Sucks about your knee; I'd have a very hard time in that situation, too.
