E150 gas hose replacement
I have a 1993 ford e150 conversion van. The hose leading from the filler neck to the tank is leaking. Is this a do-it yourself project or should I take it to the repair shop? I have been given a price on the hose at $89.00 I have not checked on the labor cost.

Do it yourself job, pretty easy, just do not cause sparks by putting a steel tool between the hose and filler neck on the tank to pry it off. Lightly slice the hose on all sides with a knife to get it off, IF needed. There might be a spring inside the hose you have to save to put inside the new one.
Usually, it is as simple as undoing the fuel filler stuff around the door, undoing the clamp on the tank end, bending the hose down with the filler stuff attached, and then twisting the hose off the tank.

If it is the same hoes that was on my 1994 Ford van i went to NAPA and got short piece of gas hose and put it on....cost less than $5. I had to take the old one with me to get exact size. It was easy gettig it in but saved some bucks.
