Fuel filter Question
Is this possible? I changed a starter and battery on my fathers truck along with the fuel filter. After the new fuel filter and starter, the truck ran great for about a half hour, then it sputtered to a stop. The battery died trying to restart it over and over. After a few minutes it started again and ran fine to get me home. After pulling in the driveway and installing the new battery and EGR valve(there was a check engine code a few months back), the truck will not start! It will run when I spray starting fluid through it for a few minutes, but then dies.
Is it possible I got a bad filter? Did I put it in backwards? Did it clog up that quick (the old one was nasty!) Is it frozen? I'm at a loss!
The truck is a 90 F-150 with a 302 automatic
