full size spare tire

Is your mount breaking the fiber glass on door? Mine is I though maybe it came with one of those small spares and the full size tire is to heavy for it mine has regular size tire on it and the wheel dosen't match the others.

There was a recall/TSB to fix this problem on earlier models. I think it was basically just a patch of sorts, I forget. Just easier to get a new junkyard door for $50.00 and paint it. Kind of funny almost 15 years later I was doing fiberglass recall fixes on Explorer hatches and they do not even carry a spare there. Some problems are hard learned I guess ...
