Yeah the on I got was about $60 shipped. Im going to get the Lokar throttle cable bracket and jsut use my 36" one I have lying around. Im going to keep the heated spacer on all year I think. Now does anyone know of a stock intake system for a vee 8 that I can use just to help with heating the intake for the winter?

Have a 300/single carb in my 81 E100 Van. Lately, mine would be hard starting when it got cold even after I pumped it a few times before turning the key. Then would act alittle rough before warming up. Before, it would start up fine and would let it idle alittle to warm up before putting it gear. Thought it was turning into a cold beast.
Found out the problem. The air breather cover was a tad off the carb (the carb sets off to one side and the part of the air breather cover has an arm that extends over it....to those who dont know this) When I re-secured it over the carb. Started right up and it stopped idlling rough.
