pulling valve covers.

This weekend I'll be pulling the valve covers to inspect the under cover wiring and take care of an annoying oil leak in the passenger valve cover. While I'm in there, is there anything else I should take a look at? I read about re-tightening the injector hold-downs but I can't remember where I read it or what years this was needed as preventive maint. Thanks.

if you can afford it put in new uvc's and gp's.......

Hey Reptar, how'd it go pulling the valve covers? I got stuck on the back bolt on the passenger side today and couldn't get the right combination of socket/extension/swivel/cussing/tongue holding/etc. Never did get the cover off. Gonna try tomorrow. Anyone with suggestions here?
