power steering box ?
does it matter what kind of pump will interchange with a certain column.Theres a guy on here who has one off a 74 i just left a message dont know if he has already sold it and it didnt say what type of box it is,i need a 3 speed column and i couldnt find anywhere where it says if a certain box will interchange,also does anyone know if anyone makes pulleys for a 292?

61, I will suggest that you get the gear to work and then take on the column. I know the 61-64 column mounts differently in the cab. It is much easier to modify and make a column work after you get the steering to turn. IMHO

jowilker,i was looking for a column right now bc those 3 speed ps are rare.When you need rare parts you buy them when you find them no matter when you are gonna be needing them.since you will not help me with my problem im leaving this site.all i asked was a simple question that i couldnt find a response for in the search results.i will find my own info.and i have already started my own website.i dont really appreciate smart answers like yours was i didnt like the way you handled the ebay stuff and that comment you just made really made me mad.go ahead and delete this link im sure you will it doesnt matter im goin through my account on here and disabling everything

Jowilker, I have a Bendix box from my 68 CS as I went to a Ford box, different column and perch. Will the Bendix fit a straight axle truck (pre twin I beam)?

I don't think it will. The I-beam truck changed drastically in that area, and poses a real delima for the guys that are now seeking the trucks.
I don't think it will be too many years before after market chassis will be available for guys to purchase that will be fitted with creature comforts.

I have a bit of a problem with this post, all I read here is help from all who participated in this thread, if you are looking for an excuse to leave, then do so on you own, we would love for you to stay.. however if you need to….. then do so, do not write that members or moderators are not helping you when they are.
