just a sujection, get your IPR from international, ebay you might regret. for IPR. waite for international to get one in. if you get from ebay and then you break down and need it bad and it is junk OH well. enjoy your PSD, shendoa.
i aksed this question a long time ago myself. from what i understand is there are 2 types. one with a screen and one without.
a few responses i got:
Use the new IPR - IPR's changed several times thru the model years with the newest in production on Oct 10 2000 at engine serial # 1273199 & has a revised spool valve to help prevent "above high/low desired" codes
the spool valve part is right bhind the 0-ring & backup ring is & is basically a machined groove in the spool housing.
This is right out of IH paperwork
Cheers

When you replace the IPR look at the end of it and see if it has hole in the middle of the shaft or if it is capped. Make sure the new IPR looks the same as the old one. This feature is the edge filter, the filter was changed from the IPR to the pump. If you do not install the right IPR you could have two edge filters which would log codes for low ICP. However, if you do not have an edge filter in the system at all than contaminates will ruin the IPR and it will fail prematurely.
hope this helps i would go for it. then when you pull yours if it doesnt look right resell it. and go to ih. thats just me good luck
