I replaced the plugs on my '73 F250 (460) right after I got it. I trashed the wire for the rear plug on the left bank when I pulled it off. I fixed the wire and it runs fine but....
I just bought a new set of wires, and I'm wondering if there's a tip any of you use to get in that tight space back there!
Also bought a fuel filter. Never changed one before. I assume it's easy, but again, if there's a trick to it, I'd love to have the info.
Mine is a 78 F-150 4X4 with a 351m but I get to the back pulg that is crammed up under the ac plenum from the bottom. I turn the wheels all the way to the right and go between the wheel well and the frame, It's right there in plain sight and a lot easier to reach.

If its the kind of fuel filter that goes directly into the carb be very carefull not to over tighten it. I did that and I had some trouble to get it out, the metal on those filters is thin!.
You're talking about #8 cylinder ,right?
If it's an automatic:
Try putting the E Brake on and putting the trans in Low.
the linkage gets right out of the way for you to put a short extension on a ratchet.
