I'm not sure if anyone here has or can use this program or a similar one, but I will ask anyway. Is there a chance you could do a photoshop for me? I would like to see what my truck would like if I painted the red a satin black. Here is a link to a the pic I think would work best. Thank you, I appreciate it.
I'm not much help here, but I also was wondering if there was a program that allowed you to upload a picture and then create scenarios on it like 2" chops, ride heights, rakes, different wheel combos, actual ppg colors, etc... Anyone know of one? I know of one that kinda works but not to my liking. It's called SoftWheels NX v.3.0
I'm pretty sure you can do all those things with photoshop. Isn't the Softwheels program on most wheel/tire websites? If that's it, then yes there isn't enough options, but for a freebie deal it's ok. Now just to find someone here that has it and can use it.
Something like this I guess. This particular adjustment is about a 2 minute job in Photoshop using the color channel mixers. It can take a LOT longer if you want chops, different wheels, etc.
George, I have had photoshop for years and didn't know you could do that! He lost the red accent for his flames, but that is understandable. Also gone is the reflected red on the grass - just makes it look more real.
Can you point me in the right direction to start learning how to do that?
Thanks George. I just have ideas running through my head to change my truck up a little. Problem is I don't have photshop anymore (I had it on another computer, but it is long gone). All I have now is PhotoImpresion4 and I don't like it. Thanks again.
A really nice guy on a forum drew a line drawing off of a pic of my truck. I can paint it any color combination I want (once I learn how). I was playing with the blue metallic linear gradient.
Here is my first attempt. Its too light, but I had to start somewhere. He removed my tire carrier (grrrrr!) and lowered it a couple of inches.
The original pic for comparison:
Is it headed in the right direction? I just noticed he removed my wing glass as well. No mirrors, wiper arms, etc. Oh well...its for color combos anyway.
That looks pretty good Brian. I saw this thread appear in my "Subscribed Threads" and I thought that this is an oldie. It just takes practice to get the hang of it, or in my case to buy Photoshop.
House of Kolor has a program for messign around with paint techniques and color combos. the main program is pricey (approx $300) but I think they now offer it for a specific make and model for $50.
I have photoshop at home but never seem to have the time to mess with it much. Like anything else, it takes patience and practice
didn't know it, but the wife has photoshop 7.0 so I loaded it onto mine..major novice here. However, I found on www.stangnet.com, a guy that does photoshop requests, for mustangs. He does wheel changes, chops, lowering stances, etc....he's really, really good. I requested my tbird yesterday.
