Electrical Wiring Problem

I have just replaced the engine in a 94 Ford Ranger that I own. My problem is that I have an electrical 8 prong femal receptical in the wiring harness that I can't find the location to plug it on. If any one has the answer please contact me with it as I have only to plug it on and start the engine.

I'm not familar with the 1994s but which engine do you have and a pic would be helpful.

Yeah Ken is right. I have a '94 4.0L, but unless you can tell me what wire you speak of, I can't be of a lot of help. Engine size is needed too.
