By duals, do you mean exhaust manifolds back, downtube back or cat back? Thanks Ed
well it can't be manifold back, because the manifolds connect to the up-pipes, which go into the turbo. there isnt enough room for two 4'' pipes anywhere near the rear of the engine. they actually split after the muffler, just before the axle. one goes left over and around the spare tire, and the other is just opposite of that, on the right side.
hey cookie, do you think it is possible to get a splitter and the left half of the exhaust system, so i can convert it to duals? from the muffler forward, it is all the same.

That would work, and it would be very simple to do. It is the same in front of the muffler. The problem will be talking the exhaust vendor into selling you just the pieces you need.

It looks better IMO, and it most definitely sounds better. From behind the truck you almost can't tell it's a diesel. Just a low, rumbling, big block thunder. Don't get me wrong, the 4" and 5" single systems sound great....but it goes to another level with the second pipe. I have the best sounding diesel truck I've heard.....but I might be just a touch biased.
Yup. Nothing sounds better than a 4" system on a PSD. Oh, maybe, except for a 5" system.
Agreed....

It is the same muffler with 2 outlets but I would expect duals to sound a little bit smoother. But, anytime you split an exhaust from one then you lose some flow.
