all in all the only differences is frame,rear end, springs f & r ...cs trucks got the mondo rear springs, HD cooling and battery and higher output alternator Trimwise...fender badging and thats it....
66' CS would also typically have a front sway bar, and the water cooled COM trans in an automatic equipped unit.

Have found that not even the DSO or the 81 body with numerals or letters will reliably tell you if it is a custom cab. So much was added at the dealer.
Garbz, I agree with 65, The sways were on some 250s I think, and may have been an option for the 100, but I haven't seen one that wasn't retro. If Ford had only known what an improvement it would be, I'm sure it would have been standard equipment.
I have yet to run into a bonified F100 camper special truck. I have parted three CS/CC F250s in the last ten years and each had the front sway bar on the 66. and the heavy suspension. All were custom cabs.
I eyed a really nice unrestored unit up near the NY border by wellsboro in no mans land a few years ago. it was a 65 F250 carribean torquoise and white CS/CC 352 COM totally bone stock with no mods. I mean it the truck had no after market anything on it. Still carried the original F250 innie wheels and hubcaps. nice unit but not worth the 14K the owner thought it was worth. One of the best survivor trucks i have seen. It had a front sway bar. But again i have yet to see a F100 CS truck. Have to keep looking...
