Ferguson, that grille absolutely kicks ***!!!!I have always said that I never saw a ''custom'' grille, in one of these trucks, that looked any better than a stock 56 but that GM hybrid is as good as it gets. Congratulations!!
I hope to start finish body work real soon, almost finished with the dash/console/roof console/seat mods (gallery update on the way) so the mud slinging should start real soon. Just bought the last of the gingerbread hardware for the interior so parts are not an issue for a change.
I like the dash too, that does look amazingly like a 56 eh? Just a suggestion, weld the patch panels in from the back, it reduces the grinding and finish work, besides, you're a darksider, CUT IT!!!!
My goal this winter? Finish the frame. Have it blasted, bring it back, mock up the engine, trans, IFS and IRS. Box the frame, then send it back out for powder coating. When that's done, set it all up. So, Hopefully by April, I'll have a rolling chasis.
And yes we get cold here in Philly. 3 propane heaters bring the garage from 25 to 70 in about 40 minutes, then one stays on to keep the temp in the 65 to 75 range.
Freeze!!!!
Rescue my kids non-starting vehicles. They always fail on the coldest day of the year .
Tow my kids vehicles out of the ditch during that major snow storm.
