94 Explorer suspension

94 Explorer suspension
My 94 explorer is getting very sloppy in turns, going over bumps and generally sounds very sqeeky in turns. THe shocks are only 4 years old. Any recommendation on improvements or upgrades to the suspension?

1st thing I'd do is make sure everything in the front suspension is tight (tie rods, ball joints, radius arm bushings, wheel bearings, etc.), make sure the tires are properly inflated, and that the alignment is on.

is the 94 same bearing set up as the 91. The 91's were notorious for the bearings loosening off because the bolts were only tight by compression. which failled over and over if not done right. maybe loose bearings but the bushings on 4 year old shocks could be warn as well
