The rear end of Explorers differ from Rangers.

Explorers rear axle rests on top of springs and Rangers are under rear springs.

Lifting an Explorer rear requires adding leaves or new leaf packs vs. Adding a

Cheap lift block for a Ranger.

I prefer all new larger arch leaf packs myself.
