...drum roll / rim shot.....but seriously folks....If the list price for a 6.0 and the electronics is around $ 13K average then I guess a free 5.4 would be about $ 8K (in free money that is)

Ouch.... I actually really liked both of mine - especially the supercharged one
The HiPo (389hp) 5.4's can be had here for about US$7300 if I recall correctly

Well, let me qualify....All my F-150 5.4s were great. Never had any issues with them at all. However, they all struggled on hills when pulling anything over 5,000 #s

a 5.4 in a focus or a ranger would be cool...

Just to clarify my sarcasm, just because the diesel option is 5K doesn't mean thats how much it cost. I hope everyone with reasonable intelligence followed.

Uh oh! I think Santa's going to be giving out a few lumps of coal for Christmas. I won't mention any names(Keith), but you know who you are.

A truck load of coal would be nice...gonna get below 20 degrees here in a couple of days.

But to stay on topic the coal would need to be delivered by a Ford truck, with a $ 5,000.00 6.0 PSD ...after the credit for the FREE 5.4 of course.

Hmmm, I'm curious, if there could be more 5.4s in the Great State of Texas than there are in the entire country known as Australia?

I am the self-declared king of facetiousness.

BTW, facetious is the shortest word in the english language to have all vowels in order. HA

Could be. Isn't Australia the "great southern state" though????
Our Falcons can be had with 3 variants of the 5.4 (307hp 3V, 347hp 4V, 389hp 4V)... They probably sell around 1000-1200 a month with the V8, and they sell probably around 50 F-Series a month with the 5.4.

ok that makes sense now i always thought and was told the engine cost 5k since thats what the deal charges u but it makes sense ford puts up the money that would have been the 5.4 and for another 5k that u put up u get the diesel do i have the idea.
