Is it possible to remove the cowl on a 73-79 pickup? If so, how? I would like to know so that I can paint in there. It is the piece behind the hood above the firewall below the windshield and has that grill looking stuff on it. If I can remove it are the bolts behind the fenders where I would need to take the fenders off?
Some Body Shops have a special spray attachment that allows them to paint in that hard to get spot.
It is a common problem on Mustangs too.
It's been done.
Ask around.

Chris, I just cut the floor out of a 73 cab and you can have the rest of it, if you are near North Carolina and want to come get it.
