I'm assuming the dealer has to update the computer? (sorry if that's a rookie question)
Edited to add: Just talked to my dealer. I was told that on an 06 I wouldn't need to recalibrate the computer. That the truck would automatically recalibrate.
The person said something about the speed being measured off of the 'toner ring' or something like that. didn't hear her completely.
Does that sound correct?
FWIW the dealership is a top-notch commercial truck dealership and I've always had great dealings with them on every level in the past

I have an 04 F250 PSD, I checked my speed with my GPS before I changed my tires and then again after. There was a difference of about a 1/2 MPH, not enough to worry about. The tires that I went to are the Mickey Thompson ATZ in a 325/60/18 on the stock Harley wheels. On my truck I can't get to full lock to turn, but I did not lose much turning radius. They are great in the little bit of snow we have had in Michigan, and performed very well in the UP during deer camp. A little noisy at highway speeds, and a little pricey. But they look great. Check out my gallery for a pic.
Do what Toyman says. Check it first. It may be off just a little. 3/4 of an inch between a parking garage and the cab of my truck?? I dunno... there's only one thing I like that tight....
