It's easy to tell if you have the "Window Makers". If it's a 20" tire it's a multi-piece wheel. There are a couple of different types of multi-piece rims. If you cannot easly see a snap ring on the outside of the rim and there's what looks like a thick band running in the center of the rim it's a "Widow Maker". When you first look at them they look like a one piece rim. If the tire is fractional like 22 1/2 or 19 1/2 then it's a one piece, tubeless wheel.

Bob, f4fran, thanks guys for all the info on the sizing. I wondered about the measuring and figured it might be close to 8" when measured from the edge of one stud to the center of the one across (thats the way I measure smaller wheels)
I'll try and keep it all in mind as I prowl around the countryside.
