When I'm driving around 70-80 my hood lifts about 1/2 an inch on the rear part of the hood and looks like it's gonna fly off some times....Went to the dealer and he said it was because of the bug shield which I told him it wasn't so I took it off and it still does it...Not sure what's causing it but I did put on upper and lower billet grills but that has nothing to do with the latch or hinges so I was just wondering if any of you had this problem...I tried to adjust it up a bit which did help but not enough...thanx

mine would flutter at hwy speeds i adj. the latch and all is well...double check that your hood is secure on the latch apply a little upward pressure shouldn't move at all...if it does it still needs to be adj. usually needs adj. up...
I tried to adjust the latch up and it didn't help...it's somewhere in the passenger hinge because when i open the hood and wiggle it I can see a gap between the hood and brackets even though the bolts are tight....have a buddy who owns a body shop so I'm taking it there this afternoon to see what he thinks
