2003 tire size

Hello I am new for this site but I look forward to posting on here frequently I just bought a 2003 f150 sport step side that will be needing some new rubber before this winter gets too bad and I was wondering what size tire can I fit without doing any mods and will still look good??

What size wheels? 16's or 17's? I would think either 265's, or maybe 285's would fit. I had a set of 285/70/16's on a stock GMC Sierra(2003 model). I had to put a few turns in the torsion bars though.

You should be able to run a 265 no problem, and at worst a 285 would rub on sharp turns.

we put whatever the metric equivelant to a 33x12.50 on a 16 inch wheel on our 2003 f-150 fx4 supercrew. they rubbed the plastic valence under the bumper, so i barely trimmed that andd they never rubbed again. this was on 16x8 weld wheels

285/75/16's should fit without a problem.

I have 265/75's on my '97 and I have plenty of room for 285's...or even 295's.
