how do you get the head light assembly out to change out side marker lights without breaking something. took the top screws but still couldnt get it to come out from the bottom

on my 95 it has the 2 tops screws and then one or two guides on the side so it slides right out. but you have the other style and I just got rid of one of those and I can't remember if I could get that bulb from going underneath and looking up or not or from inside the engine. if your real stuck go to the local boneyard and see how it is there before you break something of your own

I just removed trim to repair damaged headlight adjusting screw tonight. It is rather easy once you see how it is held together. I also have Ford Shop Manual. There are two screws on top, one guide pin on the side and three metal clips at the bottom. You will also need to remove turn signal/parking and side marker bayonet bulb holder assemblies before you attempt to take off trim. Remove top screws, pull away from headlight at top and apply even pressure to bottom. It will slowly be released from the metal spring clips. You may need to wiggle back and forth. Good Luck!
