Ebpv

Noticed that there's a can, like a vacuum can, next to the EBPV. Out of the ebpv is a shaft with a lever. It's all unhooked and tied down with tie-wraps. Is this an exhaust brake???

or your ebpv arm is diconnected.

that is definitely some form of an aftermarket exhaust brake. why dont you hack the stock downpipe off and get a new one?

When time permits. Still trying to find an IPR. Dealer is out of them here. There's 2 on ebay for the newer ones, parts man at Ford said that should work (probably cause he has one for $300).
